CONTRACTPATHINTELLIGENCEOpportunity Check

LEGAL

Terms of Service

Effective: August 31, 2026

These Terms govern use of contractpath.ca and ContractPath Intelligence services. By using the site or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.

Our service

ContractPath provides business-development and procurement intelligence. Depending on the service, we may identify public opportunities, monitor future or recurring signals, review public awards, assess apparent company fit, identify bid friction and recommend a next action such as PURSUE, VERIFY, WATCH or PASS.

No guarantee of completeness or outcome

Public procurement information can change, be amended, cancelled, delayed, incomplete or published across multiple systems. We do not guarantee that we will identify every opportunity, that an opportunity remains open, that a client is eligible, that a future procurement will occur, that an awarded project will create downstream work, or that a client will win any contract.

Client responsibility

Before acting, clients are responsible for reviewing the official solicitation and amendments, confirming eligibility and mandatory requirements, obtaining professional advice where appropriate, preparing and submitting bids, meeting deadlines, and making their own commercial decisions.

Not professional advice

ContractPath does not provide legal, accounting, engineering, bonding, insurance or government-procurement legal advice. Our fit scores, classifications and recommendations are business-intelligence opinions based on information available at the time of review.

Founding subscription

The initial Founding Contractor Program is advertised at CAD $149 per month unless otherwise agreed in writing. Before accepting paid subscriptions, ContractPath will provide the applicable billing, cancellation and refund terms at checkout or in the service agreement. No payment is collected by the current Opportunity Check form.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use deliverables internally for legitimate business evaluation. ContractPath retains ownership of its branding, report layouts, methodology, scoring presentation and original analysis, excluding third-party and public-source material. You may not misrepresent our analysis or use the service unlawfully.

Third-party sources

We are not affiliated with or responsible for government portals, purchasing authorities, buyers, prime contractors or third-party procurement platforms referenced in our research. Their official documents control over our summaries.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ContractPath is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from reliance on opportunity intelligence, missed deadlines, procurement decisions, third-party information or procurement outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version.

Launch note: These terms are appropriate as a transparent starting framework, but a Canadian lawyer should review them before material subscription volume, performance-based fees, complex bid services or higher-liability engagements.
